appreciation bandwagon

Like bro code, appreciate ‘cha has become the new jump on the bandwagon cliché that the collective has been saying. For me, this saying “I appreciate ‘cha.” lacks sincerity; why? Because everyone is fucking saying it, thus losing it’s genuine authenticity.

With the above said, I have been saying, “Thank you, I appreciate it.”  for years. However, I’ve switched it up since the new “I appreciate you;” “movement.” For instance, If I’m at the grocery store, I make eye contact with the bagger and say, “Nice job, I appreciate it,” as well as to the checker. For me, this is more sincere and exhibits more gratitude, and differs from the bandwagon bullshit.
