mandela effect
Is it real or gaslighting?
Examples
Some of the more noteworthy Mandela Effect are; my remembrances are in ( )
- Jif or Jiffy peanut butter (Jif)
- Leonardo Decaprio didn’t win an Oscar for Titanic; some remember he did. (he didn’t)
- The Monopoly Guy had a monocle, but now he doesn’t. (he had one) Like many of these, I’m confident it boils down to logo changes.
- Chuck E. Cheese, Chuck E. Cheese’s (Chuck E. Cheese’s) This is an example of a legitimate logo change in 2017. I still see many Chuck E. Cheese’s signs; the Mandela Effect community calls this phenomenon “Residue.”
- In Risky Business, Tom Cruise slid out on the floor to Bob Segar’s “Old Time Rock in Roll” wearing RayBans and a white dress shirt. Now he’s wearing a PINK dress shirt and isn’t wearing RayBans. (White shirt, RayBans). There is a parody of this with Heidi Klum wearing a white shirt without the RayBans. Now, here’s proof they filmed two scenes. This proves that the Mandela Effect is all about gaslighting the masses.
- JFK Assassination: JFK was in a two-row car with four passengers. Now, it is a three-row car with six passengers and the footage, and there are more camera angles in the footage. (two rows, four passengers)
- Kit-Kat now KitKat (Kit-Kat), yet another example of Hershey rebranding the logo
- Kraft StoveTop Stuffing was Stouffer’s StoveTop Stuffing. (GeneraFoods, GF) Kraft purchased General Foods in 1995. Stouffers is and always has been a frozen food company.
- This is my own Mandela Effect that has to do with the death of Betty White. Betty White passed away on December 31, 2021at the age of 99. However, I remember her dying in 2020. A friend called me and told me she died. I said, “Yeah, she died last year; she was 99.” They said, “Yes, she was 99. However, she just died.”
Final Thoughts
I’m on the fence with this subject, as I attribute many of these to misremembering, logo changes, or company acquisitions. I’m not ruling out the possibility of a change in the timeline, perhaps caused by the Hydron Collider (CERN). However, the phenomenon can also be attributed to gaslighting due to the nature of this place we inhabit, as it’s chalked full of deception, which leads me to Fiona Broome. What flies on a broom? Fiona was the ugly princess in Shrek, as she magically turned into a beautiful princess. A broom represents a witch; it’s all about magik folks, which might be a clue to the true nature of the Mandela Effect. For more on the Mandela Effect, check out Christopher Anatra’s Quantum, Businessman on YouTube.
UPDATE: 12.31.23
I just encountered something that some may call a Mandela effect. However, I will stick (no pun intended) to my gaslighting theory. I was looking at a stick of butter and noticed it is now a 1/2 cup instead of 1/4 cup. A 1/2 makes zero sense, as there are 4 quarters in 1 pound. However, now we are dealing with the zoomers “New Math,” as they were taught that 2+2 =5. This brings me to my point. The Mandela effect is bullshit, folks.
