having kids
why?
Why do couples choose to have kids? Is it because they believe it’s a societal obligation, or do they have to keep up with their friends? Or is it because their parents push them into it because they want to provide grandchildren? Or was it an “accident” situation? For me, all of these reasons are bullshit. For most parents, once the kid pops out, it is very obvious to me that the kid becomes nothing more than a nuisance as the kid changes the life they once had of freedom from sleeping at night and having the ability to go to the beach without having to pack up the stroller, car seat, kid bag, ziplock bag of crackers that the majority of the contents end up on the car floor and seat. Fingerprints on the walls, toys strung out all over the house, never getting any sleep because the kid has colic, I could go on and on, but you get my point.
All fucked up:
As a result of the points I made above, what happens to the kid because these things annoy the fuck out of you? Thus, the frustration sets in that is projected back onto the kid; therefore, the kid rebels and is fucked up for the rest of his life due to mental issues because you chose to have the said kid.
think:
Now, I’m not tooting my own horn; however, when I was nine or ten, I thought about the above scenarios, and I also saw the world as a fucked up place and didn’t want to subject a kid to the madness that surrounds this place. And finally, I’m going to be honest; I didn’t like other children, as I saw them as extensions of their fucked up parents. This prompted me not to have kids, which I also shared with my mom then. She was cool with that, as she was a teacher and adopted her class as her pseudo-grandchildren; okay, I’m embellishing. However, she supported my decision and didn’t try to persuade me into a different mindset.
Before (I could get graphic here) choosing to have kids, draw out a pros and cons list and seriously think about what bringing another life into this world is.
final point:
Now, you may think that my points are negative for a guy that is deep into remaining positive for my personal development; on the contrary. Each generation that decides to have children, what do they say? “I don’t want to do the things my parents did.” Most of these “things” boil down to moral issues; thus, each generation gets more disrespectful, thus building a society of a bunch of immoral degenerates, thus sending society closer into the abyss, which I’m certain that this is to feed whatever rules this reality, thus creating a society that lacks a moral compass, thus creating chaos and immortality, which is detrimental to society, thus creating the end and a reset to start the game over.
