Hard concept

One of the most challenging concepts in personal development is letting go of your belief systems and the need for something outside yourself. We have been programmed to rely on friends, family, the church, the government, doctors, Jesus, God, and whatever else comes outside ourselves. Most of us were taught that we aren’t good enough; therefore, we need a shoulder to lean on. If you think the government or Jesus will save you from the world collapsing around you, think again.

What amazes me is that folks who claim to be “awake” still think that it matters that a new president, congressman, mayor, or Pope is going to change shit for the better, as it’s always been a perpetually revolving door of bullshit. The only way to make a change is to stop feeding it. Think of it like this; you are playing a game of Roullet, where red and blue are two sides of the same coin. It is very apparent to me that whatever runs this reality gives two shits about red or blue, black or white, purple or green; it’s all the same shit. The only thing it does is feed off the energy you give it; it’s that fucking simple, folks.
