male archetypes

breakdown

Male archetypes have gained much popularity over the past few years, which, for me, falls into the need for validation. For years, the alpha male was the primary archetype of the archetypes. However, the beta was added over the years, and most recently, the Sigma has downright gone viral as the guy-to-be, which I’ll explore in a bit.

Alpha (eye chi’s definition)

  •  crave validation
  • leaders who lack empathy
  • materialistic
  • complainers
  • narcissistic tendencies
  • gossipers
  • self-motivated
  • vain
  • look down on others
  • talk behind other’s backs
  • think they are a woman’s gift
  • Considered toxic by women, while simultaneously wanted by women

Sigma (eye chi’s definition)

  • lone wolves
  • introverted | mysterious | truthful | questions everything
  • self-aware | empathetic |self-reliant | open-minded
  • keep to themselves | loyal | highly intuitive | aloof
  • problem solvers | Assertive | pave their own path | philosophical | creative
  • able to take complex situations and turn them into a challenge | don’t complain
  • not leaders, but know how to take charge
  • stoic (the Sigma is the stoic 2.0)
  • highly self-motivated
  • dislikes superficial conversations (weather, fashion trends, celebrities, politics, etc.)
  • loves alone time to recharge
  • observes
  • esoteric
  • lives in the moment | minimalistic
  • These guys are considered toxic by society, and the Sigma doesn’t care.
  • go against the grain (don’t follow societal norms)

Beta (eye chi’s definition)

  • Followers
  • care’s what others think about them
  • soft (simps)
  • loved by women because they are easy to control (they don’t say no)
  • materialistic
  • bandwagon jumpers
  • lack of ambition | assertiveness
  • need for validation
  • compliant

bottom line

So, what does all this mean? Nothing, it’s all pointless bullshit to validate one’s need for validation.
