Once again, I will tackle another viral phrase plaguing the internet, mainly on social media platforms like YouTube: “The Chosen Ones.”

First, I want to point out the fact I may sound like a broken record; however, I must say; that when a buzzword litters social media platforms, my bullshit meter peaks into the red zone. I’m not exactly sure what started the Chosen Ones phenomenon. I recall Trump spouting out the line several years ago, but I’m not sure he’s responsible for the explosion.

144,000

From what I can gather, “The Chosen Ones comes from Revelation 7:4, “And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.”

There’s a mathematical equation for 144,000: the 12 tribes of Israel times the 12 twelve disciples times 1,000 (which represents completeness) equals 144,000. With my familiarity with numerology, 7 represents completeness, not 1. So, already, this leaves me scratching my head as to who made this shit up.

Now, here’s a little fun fact about 144,000. I don’t know where the number came from. however there are 144,000 stones in the Great Pyramid of Giza. Also, if you add 1+4+4 = 9, and the 12 tribes and 12 disciples 12+12 = 24, 2+4 = 6, which 6 represents man, as man was created on the 6th day, which points to Revelation 13:18, “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man, and his numberisSix hundred threescoreandsix.”

Add 9+6 = 15, 1+5=6. Now, when you put the 6 and the 6 together, you get 66; Revelation is the 66th book in the Bible. Then add 6+6 = 12 for the twelve disciples and 1+2 = 3, which points to Christ in so many ways, the most obvious being that he rose on the 3rd day.

egocentrism

On social media, the Chosen Ones are referred to as those who are misunderstood by society. Technically, I fall into this category, as I have difficulty conforming to social norms, which is why I created this website. Also, I would like to add that the “Gangstalking” community also coined the “Chosen Ones” as their excuse for being “targeted,” which all of it falls into a victim mentality, thus creating a giant ego that puts the “Chosen Ones” above everyone. This is extremely fucked up and slightly narcissistic. My final anwer for the “Chosen Ones?” It’s all bullshit folks.
